Hi! I’m Brianna.

I’ve always been a serial creative. For me, there’s no “off” switch—I’m constantly looking for new ways to capture a feeling, whether that’s through a melody, a lens, or a deep dive into the past.

Most weekends, you’ll find me on stage. Since 2019, I’ve stepped into a whirlwind journey as a musician, songwriter, and the operator of the Brianna Rae Band. Leading a cover band has been a beautiful challenge. it’s been a crash course in all things music, from the administrative logistics to the art of entertaining. There has been adversity and moments of frustration, but there are also those moments where I look around and realize just how much the hard work has paid off as we hit those milestones along the way. Through it all, I’ve learned to connect with others and, most importantly, I’ve learned to be a better musician.

I’m a firm believer that we should immerse ourselves in our passions. I’m a songwriter on a mission to become a better guitar player—a pursuit I practice every single day—because I believe we should never stop learning. When I’m not behind a microphone, you can frequently find me behind a camera or piloting a drone (I even hold my Part 107 license!).

My curiosity doesn’t stop at the horizon, though. I love to travel, and I’m an amateur genealogist who lives for the “detective work” of tracing lineages and uncovering the stories that made us who we are today. Whether I’m getting lost in music history for days or building out a new website, I am endlessly curious. I’m honestly not sure this life is long enough to discover all that the world has to offer, but I’m going to try.

I want this to be a place where I share those creative pursuits with you. At this point, I have no idea exactly what will come of this website, but life is about fluidity, adapting, and exploring. I’m less worried about what this “becomes” and more concerned with the act of creating itself.
